My dml asked recently if its possible to have sleep apnea and not snore much. Is it? She has had difficulty sleeping for many years and has asthma like symptoms, similar to what I had before using apap. When I told her how great I was feeling on apap she was wondering if she should have a sleep study. Her dh said she doesn't snore that much at night. Terry
is it possible?
Re: is it possible?
I didn't snore much. OF course, my husband says he doesn't snore and he does, and also says he never sleeps but it's someone in the house looking and sounding like him snoring, so I guess, the partner, can never be 100% sure........
But as a woman and even during my hosp. sleep ctr. stays, I didn't snore like the men, freight train, none of that. But snore we do, ...

Hi Flower51 Terry....I didn't snore much and haven't been able to sleep for years so when my doctor suggested a test to check for sleep apnea I thought it was stupid...even when I was doing the test I told my husband how stupid this was and that it wasn't going to show anything...well, I was shocked when I was called back to the doctor and was told I had sleep apnea. I used to dread going to bed...I started this treatment just over a month ago and now I look forward to going to bed. Tell who ever to get checked out...you never know.
