That is the way! Thank you because I'd not noticed the post (of late I've been in and out unpredicably) and Jules directed me here. The topic of your pillow came up on the Live Chat.
Great idea, and thank you for sharing.
Karen

Here I am getting uttterly confused between Bi-flex and a-flex and c-flex and this post was exactly what I needed at 2 AM.
I just busted out laughing when I saw the picture of the pup using the CPAP.
Thanks! I really needed that 2nite!

Has anyone tried both the pillowpal and the pap pillow and, if so, did you find one more helpful than the other?

I am sorry about your stuffed animal. I hear stuffed dogs are the must under-diagnosed group as far as sleep apnea. Great yours got treatment.

Actually, crossfit, according to the stuffed animal vet, Dalmations in particular are especially prone to suffering from severe OSA. Who woulda thunk it?

Factoid: The first CPAP users were dogs. The were the subjects of the research done by Dr. Sullivan--the "S" in ResMed's S series of machines, someone told me. (I don't know the latter to be fact.)
I did see an article on the origins of CPAP a year or so ago. It was the anniversary of CPAP, and showed a picture of one of the dogs. If I can find it again, I'll edit the post and put it
Sorry, folks, I have kept searching and can no longer find that article with accompanying photo. Here is, however, an interview with the inventor of CPAP himself:
Colin E. Sullivan, Ph.D. on the 20th Anniversary of CPAP

I thought teddy bears were the big OSA sufferers in the stuffed animal community
I guess I better not tell Teddy or he will stop posing masks for me.

I have been using this topper for the past week and realy love it. I also have that shapeable pillow from Target and like it
but find this topper a lot better but in my case I am using it by itself. Now the funny thing is when I first got it I didn't care
for it at all then gave it another try and fell in love with it. Thanks for this fine topper.

I'd really love to get my hands on this pattern. Does anyone still have it... would you be willing to share with me?

Hi Sunstarzmoonz
Were you able to find a copy of the pattern for the pillowpal? If so, I would also like a copy, if not we can keep trying.
Nan
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.
