Simple spreadsheet to chart nightly results

Post by lktnky » Fri Jul 18, 2008 5:49 am

My Respironics BiPAP Auto's smart card would never consistantly record my nightly data so I started keeping track of the daily data from the screen on a simple spreadsheet.

It then occurred to me that if I have data on a spreadsheet, why couldn't I create a chart to visualize my progress.

I realize I've paid for a data capable machine, but until I can get the issues ironed out with the DME (resolution expected by next weekend), I am still managing to get a look at my results.

Good for you!!!

If you are waiting on the DME to get you software and a card reader, you can buy-pass that, at nominal cost, if you are so inclined.

Tell us what machine you have, and we might be able to give you some options.

Cheers,
Babs

Not sure about the Respironics BiPap but the regular Respironics machines hav a problem with the data on the screen not being accurate. What you get off the card is much better but whatever makes you happy.

My M Series cpap machine has different data on the machine than on the card--the AHI on the machine is a little higher than on the card, and the leak data is lower on the machine than on the card by as much as 5 sometimes.

Back when I started, I downloaded the following spreadsheet. I lost the link, have no idea what the source was and who to thank, but here it is for others.

It's not my data, by the way.
