CPAP PRO
Dano
On my first visit to my DME (back in 05) I asked if the cpap pro was included in the mask selection.
Their response was that they have never carried it. They had heard of it, and knew of some folks that tried it, without success. I guess that it takes some home-handy craft just to get it fitted; and, (if I correctly recall) a full night of jaw clenching to keep it in place.
To be fair, I do not know of anyone who's tried it, nor have I read any posts of apneic patients who've tried it.
Perhaps someone here can shed more light on the cpap pro for you.

Thanks, Captain...I hope someone else has heard of it and tried it. On their site there are, of course, testimonials, but I don't trust them. It's not exactly like this site, with open forums and such.
I clench my mouth closed every night anyway, because I couldn't stand the chin strap pain on top of the Swift II headgear discomfort. I wzas surprised to find that I had no trouble keeping my mouth shut on the first night I attempted it (it probably helps that if you DO open your mouth at a pressure of 14, your cheeks do a "Louis Armstrong" and your tongue flaps around wildly--that'll wake your ass up!).
