I don't know what to do about mouth leaking..Help

Post by gw » Sun Jul 06, 2008 8:05 am

I wear partial dentures on the top and when I remove them at night there is not much to support the bottom of the mask and thus my top lip seems to cave in and bottom lip goes out and I have a constant noise with the air coming out. I even wear a chin strap and that does not help. I have high pressure of 20 which makes it even worse. Makes me and the wife up all night.

Any suggestions?

ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face mask (UMFF)

Properly sized and adjusted, it should hold up to those pressures.

Den

(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

.... an athletic mouth guard - it should fill up the space your dentures usually occupy. I've seen these at walgreens and such - just be sure to get the pharmacist help you pick the size.

Which kind of mask are you currently using?
