I would like to say only that "I have never learned a thing from those who always agree with me".
Gumby said it Damit.

Seriously, someone else has to see how childish and disrespectful this egregious medical field bashing has become.

RG, Gumby, jules, DSM, thanks.

/me hugs all of you (and kicks Laura in the shin)

Fred, thank you for the kind words. I can only hope your generally unpleasant e-disposition is the result of misguided frustrations you're projecting on anyone who differs from your opinion.

Then again, you're just personified hypertext.

I certainly hope that the above indicates MrGrumpy(Fred) has lost his Delete privileges!!!!

I have lived chatted several times w/SuperJet and he has been a tremendous help as well as at times a great source of humor. He is a valuable source from the sleep medicine community and the time he spends in the forum and chat is greatly appreciated by most of us.

I certainly get more education and assistance from the sleep medicine professionals who take their time to comment in the forum on occasion than from a sleep deprived grump and I resent their being treated in an insulting manner or their comments being deleted by a sleep deprived grump.

WE lose a valuable resource when we drive them away. I am not one who has a particularly high opinion of the medical profession. But not all are educated idiots. There are a few good ones out there and those who take the time to participate in this forum and live chat are appreciated.

If I can enter my opinion, the posts need to be returned again - the thread needs to be locked so no one can delete more posts on it, and whoever deleted the posts the second time needs to be banned or this site has just become another circus like so many other internet forums.

Delete spam is for deleting spam not for censoring.

I agree absolutely, Jules, with this:
"Delete spam is for deleting spam not for censoring."

I don't think the thread needs to be locked, though. I'm not fond of seeing any discussions cut off with a lockdown. I'd rather see threads run their course, circus-y or not. And even if my shins are black and blue!

I'd just like to say that since Superjet chimed in here trivializing my complaint about my sleep doctor trivializing my concerns about residual oxygen desats into t he eighties, I have done the following. I have increased my pressure on my own. My APAP was spiking to 11 or above, so I just increased my pressure to 11. Since then I'm feeling much better, mouth is not dry when I awaken and I have stopped urinating so much. Im more relaxed and not nearly as irritable.

Looks like Superjet, like my sleep doctor, is full of shit.

I do not apologize for deleting Superjet's posts that were sardonic and trivialized my complaints about a serious medical issue.

My reason for locking the thread down - Without locking down the thread or taking away everyone's delete spam button, how can we guarantee that the deleted posts, should they return, will not be deleted again?

It is a shame a few people tend to destroy the whole idea of deleting real spam by deleting posts.

Bonnie? now where was that ant's sex life site?

If you post absolutely stupid things such as you did and then offer up the fact you work in the medical field, you will be bashed. There is no excuse for stupidity in someone who allegedly works in the sleep medicine profession. If I knew who you are, Id file an offline complaint against you with your state's medical licensing board or agency.

Fred,
This post has not come near the disrespect that other posts have in the past. Most of us continue with posting to what we want said or opinions to be heard and shared. Most of us will ignore a response if we feel it insults someone. You will find that there are people who will post just to get a rise out of someone. Ignore it, it will go away. The more your argue or defend the more you feed into more arguing. It can be a no win situation if you let it. We respect the rights to state our views no matter if someone else sees things differently. Let us make up our minds by what we read, and by deleting posts you've taken away our abilities to do so. Discussions are healthy, it would be a boring world if we all thought alike.

You are correct Bonnie, I let this Superjet character get to me. Sorry about that. Superjet sounded like another insensitive a-hole, like a handful of medical "professionals" Ive run into offline over the years.
