Hi,

I'm new to the board and CPAP. I just had my titration appointment last night and if the way I currently feel is any indication of how successful the treatment is going to be, I can't wait!!!

I've been reading the board for a few days now and have appreciated all tips and advice. I found all the info very helpful before I went for my titration last night. I knew what to expect from the mask, pressure, humidifier, etc... thanks to everyone

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and thanks and I look forward to participating on the board.

I read so many people who say that they felt great the morning after their titration. I was the same way. I only got about 2 hours sleep but I felt great the next day. Normally it seems people are initially disappointed when they get their CPAP at home and don't feel like they did the "morning after". I've been on the hose for over 2 months now and I still haven't felt like I did that morning. I feel better, but it's pretty subtle. The day after titration, it was pretty drastic. Wonder why that is....

Welcome to this big, caring, sometimes tired but mostly smiling family of masked worriors!
You will indeed find tons of wise people in this forum, ready to help you out whenever possible.
Don't forget the yellow lightbulb at the top of this forum (Our Collective Wisdom), and also the red dot (CPAP FAQ) : they hold sooooooo much information and guidelines.
