Anybody try the new Mirage Swift LT Nasal Pillows
I currently use the Mirage Swift II Nasal Pillows and have no problem with them. I am coming up on a 6-month time period where I can ask for new mask and want to try the LT if it's worth it.

I ordered mine yesterday (Mon), my DME said it should be here by Friday. I am really anxious to get it. They ordered a Micro for me almost 4 weeks ago and their supplier says it is still on backorder. So I had them order the Swift LT instead. They called their supplier to check on it first and then called me back to tell me.

Please review this when you get it! Will it be your first nasal pillow mask?jsmythe wrote:I ordered mine yesterday (Mon), my DME said it should be here by Friday. I am really anxious to get it. I'm on the original Swift now, and am eager to upgrade. I pay out of pocket due to a UARS diagnosis and this will be one of the most expensive, if not THE most expensive, nasal pillow mask on the market once it starts to ship on the 12th or 13th, but if it's really as good as they say (noise, comfort, adjustibility, etc.) I'm willing to dig deep.
And if you absolutely hate it, I'd be happy to arrange a creative trade.

LOL...I wouldn't be cheeky enough to send you my original Swift as a trade...as much as I like it better than subjecting my sensitive skin to any more full face mask cushions, it does sound like a wind tunnel, vents forward all over the pillows and bedding (so right back at me), and rides up my nose (OW!) during the night. Maybe some artwork....encrusted with diamonds and pearls?jsmythe wrote:

Resmed has shipped first batch
This afternoon Resmed shipped the first batch of Swift LT and they will be to us and I assume other dealers Thursday. There are very few going out right now as they are in backorder till mid June. If other dealers are like us most, if not all are already spoken for. I am taking one as soon as they come in for my own use and will write a review for you guys Friday morning if all goes as planned.

Mirage Swift LT
I received my Mirage Swift LT on 6/13. I had been using a Swift II until then and loved it. I figured the LT would be as great if not better and I was really excited. Then I used it the first night. The pillows (the part that goes into your nose) are very flimsy and very easy to occlude. I felt I had to adjust several times during the night. Then the pillow pushed against the tip of my nose, no matter how tight or loose it I adjusted it. I woke up with a sore and bright red nose--just call me Rudolph! Now, I feel it was only fair to try it a second night. I put a thin piece of soft foam between the tip of my nose and the pillow. I still had a problem getting the things in my nose adjusted so I was getting air. And this morning my nose is again bright red and very sore. I was really looking forward to a new mask but I think I will go back to my Swift II tonight. I hope everyone else has a better experience.
I ordered mine on Thursday, June 12th. and it should arrive at my door tomorrow! I got it for $149.00 at cpap.com with free s&h, they didn't say a word to me about being back ordered!
I can't wait! I also just ordered Bret/SleepyGuy's Pap-Cap Chin Strap as I have some mouth leaking si I am really excited about getting both items!
