Yep, they're not the only ones either.

Went to Red Lobster, no tomatoes on the salad last week. No tomatoes at Skyway Drive In today either. It's wide spread, not going away anytime soon it looks.

By the way, Red Lobster did not give me a discount in lue of the missing tomatoes. dang it!

Now at Burger King, It's not "Where's the Beef", you hear. It's "Where's the Tomatoes & How come your service is so slow".

After all, you don't need anyone to slice tomatoes. Jim

Everyone should plant at least one tomato plant - then YOU don't have to worry about their stinking, rotten tomatoes.

Bring your own tomatoes, ha!

The good news, my wife bought 5 tomato plants and set them out.

The bad news, I saw her check she spent $25 for them, the tomatoes will probably be $5 a pound if they live. I buy them canned for $2.35 a gallon.

I guess I'm lucky if they had wanted to sell them for $100 a plant she would have still bought them. I guess if you work for money, you learn what things are worth, and when to say "No, I don't need that". Jim

this is what happens when you put the dysfunctional FDA in charge of anything, they can't even keep our dog food safe much less a vitamin or a tomato.

what ever happened to the USDA? Had these government tax wasters been doing their jobs they would have stopped those tainted tomato from ever entering the country. I'm a republican and I tell you Bush has his head so far up his ass its going to take a Texas sized derrick crane to pull it out.

That is what happens when you grow produce in the sewers of Mexico. California hasn't even started to harvest its crop of tomatoes yet.
someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...

This could be the result of a FDA & Homeland Security, gene splicing program. They probably planned shipping the tomatoes to the middle east but got the shipping labels mixed up. Jim
