Error Codes for Respironics Autopap

Post by Yoga » Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:29 pm

I purchased a Respironics Autopap from cpapman. Last night when I turned the machine on, I got two error codes: E1 & E301 and a constant beeping. Does anyone know what the error codes mean and where I can find a list of error codes and their meanings. It's very frustrating when you are tired and ready to go to bed and have this happen.

Hi Yoga,
They're in the back of the book so to speak - the last pages of the patient manual, in the troubleshooting part.
And you can get the manual online at remstar.respironics.com/pdf/REMstarAutoUseManual.pdf

E error codes are potentially bad news, the emphasis is mine
"Press any button on the REMstar Auto to silence the alert tone.
Discontinue use. Disconnect the power cord from the AC wall
outlet. Contact your home care provider or Respironics for
directions on having the REMstar Auto serviced. Please have the
device’s serial number and the error code ready when you call."
O.
