Wide head -- swift leaving marks

Post by tbone106 » Thu Jun 30, 2005 5:28 pm

Does anyone else have a wide head? The swift is leaving some major marks on my face, and I'm wearing it pretty loose

Maybe your pillow isn't soft enough? (Bed pillow)

How do you like the 407? I find it silent compared with the Swift.

If you are refering to the Nike Swoosh on your cheeks, that is pretty much normal side effect of the Swift. A minor bummer, but yes a bummer.

I have noticed that after wearing it a bunch of nights, the bridle seems to break in and the swoosh is less pronounced. You MIGHT be able to widen it out a bit breaking it in manually, ....or rushing it might wreck it....proceed with caution.

My Swift was like when I first got it. After several weeks of wearing the swift that stop. To me it is like a new pair of shoes. They do not feel has well until they are worn and are stretch out.

Try switching to the AEIOmed aura. I felt the same way with the Swift (and the Comfort Curve). The aura does not have any width constraints.

If you lay on your side you will get the marks no matter how loose or broken in the headgear. Only suggestion would be to do what I did. Remove the headgear and substitute a soft cap, making slits in the bottom straps to go over the ends of the barrel, and removing the top straps and replacing them downward to wrap around the bottom straps. This holds the whole thing in place very well. No strap marks at all and very stretchy. you can also make a place to put the hose strap through to have it in the upward position.
