Hi i said hello earlier and some peeps were interested that I have been on CPAP for 19 years. To start my story the very first machine i was on was really basic and had two knobs to control the pressure and a needle indicating the output pressure. This was good and immediately I began to find out the benefits of CPAP.
There were drawbacks though. There was nobody like groups/forums for advice, about the best you could get was from the technician at the hospital and in those days it meant monthly check ups at the hospital
Anyway back to the machine, while i was asleep somebody usually my wife had to get up once an hour, usually my wife to adjust the knobs to ensure that the pressure stayed at the right output. The other drawback was that it sounded like an aircraft taking off:(
more to follow:)
