Installation:
- Silverlining installs easily and runs without a glitch. USB to serial adapter needed with some computers though.
- Encore is PITA (a pain) to install.

Data Viewing:
- Encore provides easily understandable data.
- Silverlining data is more complex, not as nicely formatted as Encore, fly by seat-of-pants navigation required.

Data thoroughness:
- Silverlining appears more thorough, provides direct indication of central apnea.
- Encore doesn't really provide indication of central apneas except somewhat indirectly after Non-responsive flag has been set.

Both programs are extremely helpful for resolving issues related to therapy. Kinda hard to argue that one is better than the other.

Regards,
Bill

Just got a new M series and am finally convinced to buy a reader and software so this is a timely topic for me as well.

Any suggestions on where to purchase for the least amount of $$$$?

No, it is for some of the Good Knight machines.
