My first night I slept with the medium size pillows, they leaked, and now I'm thinking the loud sound level was due to the leak.
Last night, second night, I used the large size pillow, didn't sound nearly as loud.
So after wearing the pillows for about 4.5 hours, I awake, cause my nostrils were on fire -- wow! But I felt better then I normally do with my nose mask. I check the encore and snoring was down but was slightly high H: was 1 which I've never had before...
I had to wait about an hour after which time I used my nose mask to sleep another 3 hours, waking up I feel tried.
Do you think I'm tried cause the nose mask has some problem (the software says i'm going great with the nose mask), over sleeping, or the the pillows somehow, even though the numbers are higher, might be washing out the co2 better, or some other property I'm missing.
I'm really confused?!?! I can wear the nose mask no problems, but I feel better with the pillows..

The soreness you are feeling with the Swift is normal for any first time nasal pillow user. your nose has to get used to those "foreign objects". Just use a little Neosporin ointment in your nostrils for the irritation on going to bed and they will adapt quickly.
For the Swift noise, also look at the CD that came with the mask and the insert card. Rotate the barrel backwards and forwards. This will change the noise quite a bit and also find that sweet spot where they fit just right. Remember they are supposed to fit just inside your nostrils. They work by the air pressure inflating them and making a complete fit. The little accordian thingees are to enable them to compress and bend without more pressure on your nostrils.
If it is still too noisy (and this is only on inhale, not exhale) try putting a small piece about the length of the barrel and 1 inch wide inside the barrel of vegetable netting. The kind that comes on orange bags, cherry tomatoes or pistachio nuts. I use the pistachio nut purple net because we buy a lot. This breaks up the air turbulence and makes the Swift practically silent. the netting has to be rather coarse or you could compromise your air pressure.

I'm assuming you have a heated humidifier, tbone. Cold, dry air going straight into the nostrils can cause a burning sensation farther up inside.
The Neosporin Janelle uses is good. Other things that many people use to ease getting the nostrils used to a pillows or prongs interface are a dab of Ayr gel or KY jelly.
If you have another mask that you like ok, you might want to rotate back to the other mask every two or three days, to give the nostrils a break from time to time while they're getting used to the Swift's pillows.

I have "good" nights and "bad" nights, with the same setup every night. The software sometimes will tell me why, sometimes not - I think there are too many factors involved, don't be too quick to draw conclusions based on a single night.
Remember, ultimately you want to feel rested, not "please" the software.
Try the Ayr Gel, or one of the other lubes - a lot of people (including myself) really like it.
