Respironics M series humidifier

I'm not keen on this M series Autopap humidifier. I find that water runs back down the hose to collect in the air chamber and then when you remove the water container it spills out onto the heater plate. Its hard to mop up the water especially that lying in the air chamber which I think could become a trap for bacteria.
I am thinking of getting a F&P Humidifier like some people here have but how do I connect it up. I've removed the humidifier from the Apap machine but theres just a hole there where the air comes out - nothing to hook a hose onto. Do I need to get something else to do this job?
Appreciate any info on this.

Should have come with a little square adapter that snaps in place of the humidifier. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/Respir ... -Port.html

Should have come with it unlwss your DME took it out.

Yes - it should have come with it - of course if you just gotta have one you could always buy it for $ 8.49 @ cpap.com

Thanks Jerry, I didn't know that and I certainly didn't get the adaptor so I will chase the suppier up and get it.
