Zzz-pap provider's/clinician's manual?

Post by lusoman » Mon Mar 10, 2008 9:43 pm

Anyone know where it might be possible to obtain the manual for setting the pressure of the Zzz-pap?

If you bought it new from CPAP.COM, there should have been a setup sheet/manual with it.

However, since most of these machines can be gotten into by holding down some button combination while turning it on......that's where I'd start if I didn't have the manual.
That machine only has four buttons that I can see from the picture on CPAP.COM's link. I'd start with holding down the two buttons on the right while plugging it in.

Hi Den

Thanks for your reply.

I know that's true for most of the machines that they sell, but the details for the Zzz-pap only lists a user guide, not a setup/clinician's manual.

I did try that, but no joy with this machine.

Did you look in all the pockets of the travel bag? With the Respironics' M Series, they put the quick setup "card" in one of the pockets of the travel bags.

If you absolutely CAN'T find it, I'd call them and ask them where they hid it and/or how to get into the machine OR if they'll send you another manual.

By the way, you might try some other button combinations, too.

It MAY be only a single button.....like the one above the power button.....held down while plugging it in.
With the Respironics machines, you have to hold the buttons down for about 5 seconds.....and until it beeps.

I got a better idea......

Just download the manual with this link. It has the pressure setting instructions in it.

THE MACHINE MUST BE IN STANDBY MODE TO CHANGE THE PRESSURE BY PRESSING "MENU".
