Script for cpapauction question

Post by sleepycarol » Fri Feb 29, 2008 4:39 pm

I have a script on file for a "smart cpap" with cpapauction.com.

I have found one listed on the site that I would like to bid on but it is telling me I need a script on file. Yet, it is showing under my profile where my script is on file for an apap.

My script is for a "smart cpap" which I understand IS an apap. Yet, the one in the auction is listed as a "smart cpap" and when I looked the model number up on line it indicates it is indeed an apap.

Why am I unable to bid?

In the questions section there is info on what specific words in a script are required to get approval to bid.

They are pretty tight on this (for legal reasons).

Ask them via email & they will explain exactly what wording is needed or if they can revise your type approval will do so.

Good luck

Carol, just a though here, why dont you PM Johnny and tell him exactly what you have said here, he can help you get it straightedn out. Another instance a while back came up and he helped the member out. I am thinking the term "smart cpap" has someone confused as to your access to bid on the item. Just my guess....

Dear sleepycarol,

Thanks for your notice. The machine was listed in the standard CPAP category rather than the Auto one. I have changed the category on the listing and you may bid. We are also upgrading the website to help keep sellers from making mistakes in classifying the machines. I apologize for the delay and inconvenience.

I can't be more than happy enough at the super lightening fast response that you gave!!!

I will say this about this site, cpap.com, and cpapauction is that they stand behind their sites and give GREAT customer service!!

Bid has been placed and all within a short time since original email!!!

Thanks.
