I have a Remstar Auto with C-Flex, and just started using the Encore software last week.
I started with a nasal mask, but since I wear glasses and like to read when going to sleep I got a Swift. It's comfortable, but I seem to take it off in my sleep almost every night I've used it. Also, there's no data saved on those nights I use the Swift.
The Remstar Auto documentation does say that it might not work correctly with narrow hoses, and the Swift does have a narrower hose. Does this mean I just can't use the Swift with my Remstar Auto? (If not, I have a like-new Switft that will be for sale.)
Are there other nasal pillow "masks" that my Remstar Auto will work correctly with?
Thanks,
/Andy

I had this problem when I first used the Aura mask with my Remstar Auto, I found that the problem was that part of the masks nasal interface had the tubing kinked, and restricted the airflow more than the unit would allow for recording information. Since fixing this I have had no further problems, also use the Breeze, and have had no problems with it. Make sure that you haven't restricted the airflow anywhere in the circuit.

I just realized that I use something else -- a HEPA filter -- that may be restricting the airflow and affecting the Remstar Auto's ability to work correctly. I'll try using the Swift again, but without the filter, and see if that works. (But I really like having a HEPA filter in the line, especially since it does get dirty, meaning it's been keeping schmutz from going up my nose.)
