Ok it has been a little over a month since I started using the mirage liberty FFM mask today with the nasal pillows. I have to say tat so far it has not worked well for me. I think my pressure is so high 20/16 and my cheeks so chubby that leaks develop to many times thru the night that it is not worth it. I hate it does not work because when I put in on and go to bed the seal is the best I have ever had, but every night once I fall asleep and turn one way or the other boom leaks. I changed because as in my first post I have had day time sleepiness so bad that it was like before I was diagnosed with OSA. My sleep doctor started me on provigil 200 mg and it has been about 6 weeks and I am not sure it is worth the money still having bad day time sleepiness.

My doctor has ordered a new sleep study and go from there to see how to address the problem., this will be my third one since I moved in 1999 and instead of just focusing on how to choose the best mask and sleep the night of the study like the second one they can't find my original study that measured how many times I had apnea episode and then putting on a mask to find the correct pressure Cigna want to start all over which cost more I would think. I have went back to my mirage swift nasal pillows which I love but I think I am to much of a mouth breather to use them He changed my Requip from 1mg to 2 mg for my PLM. He also is thinking about putting me on autopap instead of bipap but once again Cigna wants more proof that that will work better because it is so much more for an autopap machine they say ????? Ok thanks for listening everyone I will update soon as I can.
Thanks,
Bob

What you need is a Auto Bi-PAP, with the softwear and reader. Your pressure is too high for CPAP or APAP, you wouldn't have any wiggle room.

With the new unit you might find you can get by on less pressure, sleep labs and doctors have been wrong. I get the new AutoBiPAP, in case they were right. Jim

But most important is seeing were you are at in treatment.

Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!
