I am going to order a Breeze system and pay OOP because I'm so frustrated w/ my gel mask. But how does one know what size to order??
Currently using the Respironics comfortgel but cant find right fit. Started with small (DME said that was right size) but the small covers my upper lip and presses up under my eyes (to the point my eyes are swollen in the am). And it leaks unless I strap it so tight. So tried a petite, and it worked for about 2 weeks, and now suddenly something is going on and its pressing up onto my nose and blocking my nostrils! I keep waking up struggling for air.
I can see myself spending a fortune trying to find the right thing (ins. will buy a new one every 6 months, which is nice, but i can't wait that long).
Help!
Breeze -what size? Whats up with gel mask?
Not a big fan of the gel masks, simply due to weight, but having had one already a few tips:
1. Make sure your face is clean - if you use lotion or recently your skin has gotten oily, that could explain the slide.
2. Make sure the mask is clean, too - something might be making it ride up.
3. Don't wash it with soap that has moisturizer in it
I've never used the Breeze, so no tips there, sorry!
