Could be you are like Den and I, we keep our HH turned off but full of distilled water. I even keep my bedroom in the low 60's. even then it's close to too hot.

If the filters on thw XPAP havn't been cleaned in a while the restricted air flow can make it heat up a little. Jim

Room temperature can affect it, too. Keep your distilled water in the fridge and turn your humidifier off.....should help.

Den,

I used the refrigerated water during the summer months, but you use it all year round? I guess with the cool water and the cool room you don't have a problem with rain out?

Yep.....all year round. The bedroom is usually in the low 60's all year long, so I'm used to it.....although there are SOME nights that it does get a little chilly. And, you're right.....absolutely no rainout.

That's good advice. Tomorrow morning, besides noting whether you had the "heat-in-the-mask" feeling, you should note whether your nasal passages are comfortable or feel very dry.

Can you look at the Encore Pro detail report and see what, if any, events are showing just before you wake up with "heat"?
