I am so petrified of getting a cold that at the slightest sign I get the Zicam out and get some of that disgusting gel up my nose. I swear by it. Drs have studied the effect of zinc on limiting the symptoms and duration of a cold for about 20 years. I read the first research on this in the late 80s. They really don't know the mechanism, but I think it works.

Give it a try, but you need to start to use it at the very first sign of a cold.

AIRBORNE every time I leave the house. That and washing my hands religiously. Haven't had a cold in years.

Man, that sorely tempts me to read my card. I've had a major gastrointestinal virus for the past 5 days. I wonder what my chart will look like.... sleeping.... 15 minutes goes by... everything's fine... MASSIVE LEAK WHEN MASK ABRUPTLY PULLED OFF FACE AND FLUNG ACROSS THE ROOM WHILE I DASH FOR BATHROOM....... sleeping... 15 minutes... fine... REPEAT!

Sorry, not making fun of YOU. BTW, I now know why so many soldiers have died of dysentery. They shot themselves after the first 48 hours of hell.....
