Has anyone tried the Breathex Journey yet? I want to get a backup machine and I would like something small that runs on battery, so I could nap on the couch if I want. When I went on cpap.com they had no reviews for this. I am also looking at the Everest, but it looks bigger. The only thing that worries me about the Breathex Journey is no humidifier, not sure I could go without one.

Correct. If someone's prescribed pressure is 13 or more, the BreatheX can't do that.Guest wrote:What is your pressure requirement, I believe the breathX tops out at 12 cm.
You could always buy a separate heated humidifier. The Fisher & Paykel HC 150 humidifier works fine with any machine. Comes with a short hose that connects to any brand, type, model of "PAP" machine, including the BreatheX machines.Murphy wrote:The only thing that worries me about the Breathex Journey is no humidifier
I have both the original BreatheX (not the "Journey") and the Aeiomed Everest 2. The Everest is the more practical machine to get, imho, if you want a machine that comes with its own battery. Might look larger in pictures, but it's very small. Doesn't take much space at all.
Also, the Aeiomed machine can be plugged into an electrical outlet and used for treatment while the battery trickle-recharges. When the BreatheX's battery is depleted, you can't use it again until you recharge it. The BreatheX can't be plugged into the wall at all.
