Christmas gifts

Post by kteague » Thu Dec 13, 2007 9:50 am

Isn't it funny how what we get excited about changes. I wonder how many of us either requested or expect to get something cpap related for Christmas. I thought about asking for a new mask, but I'm due for a replacement this month.

Enjoy those Padacheeks!

Kathy

My wife apparently went nuts buying christmas presents today, and the bank just called to verify transactions just to make sure someone hadnt stolen the card...

One of the transactions they verified was for PurSleep. AWESOME, Im about out of my Clear which turned out to be the only scent I really like.

YAY!

I will be glad to give away as much snow as anyone wants. You bring your own dump truck and haul as much as you want for FREE!!! Ask for directions otherwise drive north until you see the snow.

I'll trade you all your snow for the Ice storm NW Missouri had this past week. 4 days without electricity made CPAPing fun. I had fixed up a car battery to use on campout that came in very handy. Makes me more interested in the battery backup that have several days of usage per charge.

i casually mentioned to 2 of my loved ones that i would really like a new cpap pillow for christmas but they both refused, saying a pillow is no christmas gift and it's something i should just go ahead and buy because i need it...they just don't get it

Allright, that tears it... I'm now hereby collecting donations to buy Sharon a new cpap pillow for Xmas because she's a great gal and a swell addition to this forum!

Whatchya want, honey? Be specific, or I'm going to Target for the off-brand memory foam pillow that works great for me and is on sale this week...

It's that or you send me your DH's email and I'll send him a note specifying why jewelry is not an option this year....

LOL,
Babs - Who is smiling pretty at her mamma and hoping she doesn't have to pay back the $750 she owes her for charging the APAP to her credit card. Merry Xmas to me?

OMG babs, you made me laugh right out loud

but no, i don't need you to take up a collection, LOL...my dh keeps telling me to just go ahead and order the damn thing...i'm the one who is standing in my own way of a new pillow, since i already have the papillow and as many other accessories as i can shake a stick at; now i just want the new memory foam cpap pillow i've seen on-line, and i feel like a brat for wanting to switch so soon; that's why i thought i'd try to slip it in as a gift, but my hubby and best friend both say they'd feel like a shmuck buying me something they see as a necessity instead of a frivolous treat

btw, i hope you get off scot-free on the apap you charged

What's truly hilarious is that Mom KNOWS I got reimbursed for it two months ago, but hasn't remembered to whine to me to write her a check! It came in the day I drove her to the airport for HER vacation, then the next week I was on MY vacation, then the following week we all went together to CA for T-Day, and in the craziness, she's forgotten.

I wonder how much longer I can pull this off? Yes, I spent the reimbursement on cheap whiskey and cigarettes on vacation. Wish I could say I spent it on loose men, but sometimes two out of three ain't bad.

LOL,
Babs
