Best nasal interface for snuggling with your SO???

Post by tgrove » Sat Dec 08, 2007 10:15 am

It's time for me to get a new interface. I love my Mirgage Swift, but it blows air on my wife's back, and is thus not "wife-approved" for snuggling. The Swift II blows more downward, but still on the wife.

Some have recommended the Aura to me in the past for it's overhead exhaust, but its got that big plastic doohickey on the top, that looks like it'd poke her instead.

So, I pose the question: Are there any interfaces that exhaust out the top that don't have a big front protrusion, so as to be top notch interfaces for cuddling up to the one you love without causing her grevious bodily harm????

If you are interested in the Aura do a search or look under the yellow light bulb or red question mark. There are posts about how to adapt it so it doesn't have all the headgear.

I haven't personally use it but know some that swear by it.

If you like the Swift, try the Swift II. The exhaust points down instead of towards the front. I had the same problem with my best half when using the old Swift; now there are no complaints. The Swift II is also less noisy.

Good luck,

David

The Aura has a vent that blows straight up.....and the hose doesn't get in the way. My honey and I go to sleep every night in the snuggle (spoon) position.

She wears the CL-2 (it vents straight out).....and I wear the Aura. Both hoses are supported by swinging arms mounted above our bed.

We get along just fine.

I'll second the Aura. Works great and doesn't disturb the spouse.
