better chin fit? Full face nmaks

Post by deadtom » Thu Dec 09, 2004 3:13 pm

I have started using the Respironics ComforFull and it is very comfortable but leaks a lot around the bottom lip and chin. I am interested in trying the Fisher & Paykel Flexifit full face. I noticed that they have the chin covered.

Has anyone tried this mask?

Full Face Mask

I use the Fisher & Paykel full face and I like it. The bottom of the mask come just under your chin. I struggled with some leaks but that was just a matter of adjusting the straps.

What about chin hair? Would that affect it? I have a goatee

I tried on the Fisher and Paykel full face mask, and really liked the chin covering. Unfortuneately, the small was still too large / long for my face. I don't think it would work with a beard or goatee however, but you can only try.
