[quote="WNJ"]I have my APAP set at 10-14 cm H2O sitting at about the same level as my mattress, the hose is looped up over the headboard, heated humidifier set at 2, and room temp about 62.

I have no heated hose. I have no hose cover. I have no rainout.

What am I doing wrong???

You are using the wrong mask type, yours doesn't act like a expansion valve in an A/C unit. When you take a compressed gas and lower it's pressure, it becomes cooler. If it's holding water vapor, it turns to fluid H2O. Jim

Aussie Hose

Post by Trying to Be Good » Sun Nov 18, 2007 12:06 pm

How do you clean the Aussie hose? Mine has a non-removable cloth cover and an electrical connection. I'm afraid of what the inside of mine must look like!

I'm thinking of getting a new one, without the attached cloth cover. Does anyone have a link to the company that sells these?

Thank you!

Hi,

Mine came with cleaning instructions. Basically you wash out the hose with soapy water like any other hose EXCEPT you must do it without getting the outside wet!!!
