Compliance data - storage capacity on a Smart Card

Well, I finally got my answer on how much compliance data my Legacy/Classic/Tank machines will store on one smart card.
I noticed this morning that January 1 was not the beginning date in the date range when I opened this morning's interaction download. So, I went back a few days and discovered that the night's data from November 13 was the last inclusive date in the range. On my machines and card, 01/01/07 - 11-13-07 is the limit of compliance data before it starts "sliding off" the front end.....one date at a time. According to my Compliance Summary page at the end of that report it's 317 days/nights.

Just a little "FYI" for anyone who cares.

Interesting -

I started using the APAP tank on 12/4/2006. I haven't downloaded last night but did download data yesterday. I checked that download and my information goes back to 12/4/2006 for compliance so I have 12/4/06 to 11/15/07 so far --- .

So, given that Jules is getting more "days" on the card than Den is... does that probably mean shorter sleep sessions per day are going to allow "more days" to appear on the card than if same person were chalking up longer sleep sessions each day?

If you go to your last page with the compliance data....how many days is it showing in Date Range or Days with Device Usage?

Info:
I only use mine for night time sleep and haven't had more than one "session" per day......no breaks of more than 1 hour, as a gap of that time will create multiple sessions. Average Usage (All Days) = 7 hrs. 26 min.

Another interesting anomaly I noticed on my pressure line on the morning of the 14th was that it took a dip from 12 (my set pressure) to 4. That didn't show up on any other charts as a variation in pressure......and went back to 12 on the next download. The EP version I've been downloading to every morning is 1.4.99. I just downloaded my card to my computer with EP 1.6 and it didn't show that pressure line drop......but it still shows 317 days. AND, since I only download to that computer (about) once a week, I can't produce a report from the beginning of the year because the oldest date on this download is Jan. 4th and if I go to the previous interaction from last week, the most current date is not there......since the 317th night fell between those two downloads.

Encore Pro version 1.4.91, OS = XP Media edition, 2 GB RAM

I have APAP set 8 to 10 for most of the time but the gold line for the pressure max sometimes is 10 and usually is 11. I don't think I have ever seen the pressure drop down (I have ramp set for 0 min).

I do have the glitch where most nights no data appears for several minutes at the start.

I had 2 nights without use - one because of power outages that hit most of the NW a year ago with that big storm and once we expected to lose power so I used the Pro 2 instead. We almost had another overnight outage from weather this week.

Your machine probably has firmware version 2.7 in it. I have an Auto with that version......and my Pro 2 got updated to it when it went back to the factory in Sept. of 2006......but I still have an Auto with 2.5 in it (which doesn't drop any time.

I figured out how to get around the missing 10 minutes with the 2.7 firmware.
You need a watch with the ability to see the seconds, but if you start the machine up and let it run for 1 min. and 45 sec......then shut it off for 30 seconds and then start it up again, the missing time will only be a fraction of a minute (a little sliver on the timeline).

The one night we had a power outage this year, it fortunately occurred after I had gotten in my 4-hour minimum for compliance (barely).

If you want the service pack to upgrade your version to 1.4.99, send me a PM......it's only about 4 MB.

Well I hit the wall.

I downloaded 2 days ago - 12/4 - 11/22
354 days, 352 days of use
report was 17 pages long

Did not download yesterday

Downloaded today - 12/5 - 11/23
354 days, 352 days of use
report was 16 pages long (6 sessions not 7)

And NO DATA FROM LAST NIGHT.

Guess I should erase the card or else start a new one.

In an interesting "twist", my "Days of Device Usage" on the last page increased to 318 yesterday and was the same this morning. My report is 16 pages long.

I'll probably wait till the first of the year before I erase mine.
