Has anyone used the combo of CPAP with dental device with success? I recently baselined a new sleep study to check my OSA and get motivated to try CPAP again(past has been 20-30) and was surprised to learn of a AHI under 3 when I wore the device to my amazement (never felt that rested in the past using dental device though). Interesting enough, I have tried with much success this time around trialing CPAP seriously, within 8 weeks I have lossed 8-10lbs and my mild RLS is mostly gone as well.
So, thinking of lowering my pressure from 10 to 8 and wearing the dental to keep my index under 5 thinking the lower pressure may be more comfortable perhaps. Presently, my AHI are in the 5-8 range on CPAP alone. I have a feeling that perhaps dental could work for me alone, but CPAP is making a bigger dent?
