Yeah, the real problem with Encore Pro is it truly is designed for clinics where they might see you as often as once a month. In that scenario it might make sense for the default settings to erase your card, and to display only summary compliancy information. For those of us on this forum it's all wrong. I went through all the support material and tutorials that come with EncorePro and it never mentioned the default setting was going to erase my data. It also never mentioned how to change it to save the data. Thankfully that info was available here. Also thanks for Derek and his My Encore since it takes the data up a level and makes it truly useful.

I didn't respond, cause I didn't want to step on any ones toes.
I take it you mean you had info and didn't share it because you didn't want to sept on anyone's (RG, Ballast) toes?

I'm sure good information will do nobody's toes any harm - don't ever hesitate in the future. Just suppose Ballast had decided that his toes were too sensitive for him to tell us he had checked the instructions again. Then most of us would have thought the bi-pap pro 2 does not give enough reports, and some, who really can't do without bi-pap would have not have had reports they could have...

We need each other's support, we need each other's info, we can do our best to correct each other tactfully, and I hope everyone can take care of their own toes an ego.

Please never tiptoe around my toes. When I'm wrong, I want to know it! Won't make me the least bit upset or embarrassed to be corrected. We never stop learning - or at least, should never stop trying to learn. Mistakes are part of that process.

D*** the toes...full speed ahead!

Alrighty then.

Encore is pretty nice to have -- I now know the prescribe pressure 13 in/out was OK at the sleep study, but I'm doing a little better @ 18/14. Now I just have to determine if I like the BI-LEVEL flex with the ACTIVE thingofamajig worth it - I think it responds too slowly. In the sleep study the bi-level was instant which I did well with. Then pro 2 kinda moves up in down in a measured way visiting each pressure setting between for a split second.

I also think I snore on the exhale ???????
