Quattro leaks at the hose connector.
My mask leaks at the connection from the mask to the hose. Ran teflon tape around it and it helped. Any others had this trouble?
Other than that, the mask works for me.

I've heard of that problem, but after eight continuous weeks of the Mirage Quattro, I have not experienced any problems.
That appears to be very uncharacteristically lucky for me.
But I've been thinking about buying a roll of teflon tape, just in case.

The "bright side" for ME was that I got a helluva deal on mine (less than half price).....didn't pay nearly as much as some of y'all.Snoredog wrote:Look on the bright side, Resmed has raised prices in order to give you better service and support.Anonymous wrote:Organplayer wrote:My mask leaks at the connection from the mask to the hose. Only problem is you have to beat them over the head with that Quattro in order for them to acknowledge a problem exists that has been reported here and to them with that interface from day one.
Some may recall my phone call to the Resmed witch hazel. Seems I wasn't just making that problem up.
Now if you were dsm you could just walk over at break time and pick up a new one no questions asked, you wouldn't even have to prove where you bought it and come back here boasting they deserved a medal or something for superior quality and service, somebody kick me will ya.
If I'd have paid full price, I'd have been a little more steamed about it.
I still think it's a relatively decent mask.....seals very well, even with a few days of growth on my face.

My Quattro and its replacement both leaked. Three turns of Teflon tape seems to fix it, but the elbow will still come off unexpectedly.
Having lived with it a while, it is not a bad mask (although with QC defects), but I'm not sure it's much of an improvement over the Ultra Mirage.

I have both the Ultra Mirage and the Quattro. The UM hose connector does not leak and that mask stays in place better than the Q but the Quattro feels like it has less "pucker factor" on my face. I prefer the Quattro now but that pesky hose connector is a PITA.
Teflon tape you say? Good one then, I will try that.
