taping

I'm new to all of this and saw several people talk about mouth taping to stop leaks. What kind of tape do you usually use? I have a Swift II nasal pillow and so far have had a hard time not breathing through my mouth with it. Does the pressure have anything to do with it? Mone is set at 14. Since I got the machine my wife says it is to noisy for her and sleeps in a different room. Any help would be wonderful.
