M-Series Plus ramp question

Post by zzzzzz!! » Sat Sep 01, 2007 6:26 am

Is there a way to set the machine so that it always starts up with the ramp, even with auto-on (breathing into the mask), so I don't have to hit the ramp button?

I don't think so. I have read the manual on the "M" Pro and can't find anything to suggest it is possible. I guess you will just have to keep on hitting the ramp button.

I looked in my manual and either I need new glasses, or I missed it but I am not sure call tech support at cpap.com they could tell you. But I would venture to say that it is not possible.

Thanks, that's what I figured, but I thought I'd check here in case some brilliant cpaptalker had found a way to do it.

But I'm lazy!! No, actually I just got a cheap little two-drawer nightstand today, drilled some big holes in the back for hoses, wires, and circulation, and am putting the machine in the bottom drawer. I was hoping I could just huff and puff rather than going to the trouble of opening the drawer to hit the ramp button. No big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

I've used Xpap for 2 years, havn't hit the ramp button yet, never saw the need to hit it. It just auto starts and we are done. Jim

I second that motion.
I'd like to not use the ramp, and I've tried not using the ramp, but it's just a lot more comfortable for me to use it. Sorry!

The M series Auto with A-flex has that feature, it's called "auto-ramp". So if you really want it, I guess you'll have to trade up.

ramp

Well, I love the ramp, my pressure (20) doesn't kick in until I'm asleep. If, I get up during the night I use the ramp again when I return. I'm so used to my routine of donning my mask, hitting on/ramp at the same time that I don't remember doing it from day to day. Regards
