When using an APAP machine with Cflex enabled, how low does the pressure go on exhale? If the pressure range entered is 9-20, does the exhale relief ever go below 9? That's the range prescribed by my doctor but I still find it somewhat difficult to exhale.

9 cm to 20 cm, is a very poor way to set up a APAP...... However the answer to your question is:
Cflex provides exhale relief in three levels, based of how you breath out. It's not based on a set pressure. setting 1 is the least pressure relief, setting 3 is the most pressure relief. The most relief comes at the start of exhale.
Will your pressure ever go below your setting of 9 cm? The machine sets the pressure, however when you exhale you are providing the exhale pressure, so if you try really hard your exhale can bottom at zero. I'll bet after zero, you'll take air in again. Jim
