Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit 432 Full Face CPAP Mask.

Post by Sergey45 » Tue Aug 21, 2007 5:59 pm

My testing of Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit 432 Full Face CPAP Mask ended up with big disappointment:

What will be your suggestions? Which mask should I try next?
Thanks for any input.

I have been trying for the past ten months to find a mask that does not leak during the night, and thus far have been unsuccessful -- I have to have a FF mask. Having better luck with the Quattro than any tried thus far, but it leaks several times during the night at sides of the mouth, as well as leaving deep imprints on my forehead. CPAP has not been "the answer" for me, and I am more tired now than before I started all this. If you are successful, share your information!

Problems but not as bad as your

My issue with this mask was the headgear. It was extremely uncomfortable on the back of my neck. I used the ultra mirage FF headgear which helped somewhat but still had issues. Somewhere there is a good mask.

Check with padacheek... she's got padding that will cover that entire headgear.

Mask

I'm at a pressure of 19cm, I use a 431 with fleece wrapped around the headgear strap held together with adhesive velcro.

I could wear the mask without it! Huge difference

YES it still leaks when my jaw slides in but, my AHI is below 2.5 most nights so let it leak!

Success can be had, ya just have to be persistant and hang in there.....

Sleep well......
