Unusual Breeze offer

Post by Elle » Sat Aug 04, 2007 11:43 pm

I will trade a new Breeze for a 'new cushion' (standard size) for my mirage activa mask.

I had been using the activa and decided to try the breeze and i couldn't get it to stop leaking so took it off after about 2 minutes.

I went back to using my activa but a couple of months later when having all gear checked i brought out the breeze and asked if i was doing something wrong and RT laughed and said it had a leak in the plastic and I should epoxy it. He said many customers did this. I tried to get him to take it back but he wouldn't so I epoxied it but had a new cushion for my activa by then so I just put it away.

I am comfortable with the activa now but need to replace the cushion often. I hate to see the Breeze just go to waste but I don't feel like dealing with money since it does have this sloppy (but effective) epoxy work done by me.
I have 2 sets of green (med) pillows and one set of small and one of large. I had 2 sets of each but I tried the small and large ones so I threw those out.
I also have 2 user guides for some reason.

I put this request in the mask trade thread but it was pretty long so I thought I would put this here. let me know if you are interested.

I love the cat! But I'd love it more if I could see a wee larger picture. Is there a link to a larger photo?

Thanks!

Sounds like somebody sold you an old Breeze. There were problems with the shell but Puritan Bennett has fixed the problem. CPAPers do not need to resort to funky fixes like gluing the shell back togather. If it has a leak your DME should have replaced it for you.

When did Puritan Bennett announce they had fixed the problem of Breezes being prone to get a leak along the shell seam?

Sad excuse of an RT, imho.
