NOTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that I've got your attention I want to Thank all the posters ,the chatters . and the developers on this site. I've learned more surfing here than I have in the last 6 months. My GP and my "Sleep" doctor who spent maybe 15 min each face to face with me gave Me little to no knowledge. I picked up some from TV and a little more from reading and talking about it. I knew even less after my first sleep over, and had my second sleep over within a week and never saw my Doctor in between . I got my test results and a little bit of info. at my 2nd sleep over from my Tech.I suppose I should have asked questions but didn't know what to ask. In a quest to find out more I surfed the web and found a link on a equipment sales site to here.I now have this site saved on my desktop and fully believe it will become my "Bible" in all things apnea. Again Much Thanks To All! May God Bless You! And Sweet Dreams be Yours!

Yes, I second that! This place is awesome! Probably would have come out of the proccessof diagnosis and PAP aquisition much less perpared. Because of this site i knew exactly what to ask at my studies and at the doc.'s office. I know they just can't tell me any old crud and I'll believe it... and they do too! I know too much now! I have a good doc and I don't think he'd ever do that, but becaue I've learned as much as I have he knows to just be up front with me. Has been repeated many a time, but KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Splash51 you are so right. I can't thank Rested Gal, RobbieH, James Skinner and all the other members of this unique and wonderful group.
Rested Gal, I think we should set up a fund and give you a dream vacation. You are worth your weight x 1000 in platinum.
James, we're lucky to have members like you who spend so much time in work that helps the rest of us understand our data. I'll be staring at charts tonight.
I'm still struggling and working the whole cpap thing, but I am a thousand miles further down the road now with the help from this group.
Thanks to all who share here.

Good idea! Let's send RestedGal, JamesSkinner, RobbieH, etc. etc. etc. on a cruise! Okay, maybe a spa? I'll pony up a slice of that pie!!!!
MY GRATEFUL THANKS, AS WELL,

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

I agree that this is a great resource.
While I applaud the Sleep Center and DME for quickly getting me my equipment (I was diagnosed 8 days ago, and had my equipment by last Thursday).
I came home with my equipment, but very little information (and unaware of the options I had available). I wasn't sure what questions to ask, and wasn't happy with the answers I got for the questions I did ask.
So I went online, somehow discovered this site, and began immediately applying the advice I read. It's made the last 4 days a great success.
I'm not sure if that would have been true otherwise.

I agree this site is a great place. It's made a big difference in keeping me going even when the going was rough those first couple of weeks. I feel better now that I've felt in years. It's not just all the tweaks and technical expertise the xpap veterans here provide ... it's knowing they have walked down this very road that I'm traveling on, and arrived at a healthier place.

To have what you want is wealth; to be able to do without is power.
I'll contribute especially if Rested Gal's dream vacation is Austin, Texas. She could bring her toolbox and go to work modifying the new Headrest/Aura/Twilight NP I just got - LOL.HumanBean wrote:Rested Gal, I think we should set up a fund and give you a dream vacation. I am fairly sure I could not have been compliant without the knowledge, expertise, humor and support so freely offered here by so many.

This site, with RG's many brilliant contributions, not to mention the humor, wisdom, and support of so many others has made ALL the difference in my life!

This site is awesome and a great source of information and help. I also bought a copy of the book "Sleep Apnea The Phantom of the Night" by Johnson, Broughton and Halberstadt" which covers just about everything that we talk about here. This book is a bit repetitious but is a great reference.
