Wow.....is that what my bag is worth?

Post by jennmary » Wed Jul 18, 2007 9:00 pm

Saw this on ebay....had to repost it. I am guessing the machine comes with the bag. He keeps relisting it. It started at $500 and has just kept coming down.

HMMM, saw a machine on ebay recently too... was advertised as CPAP acsecories, and he was throwing in the CPAP free. Interesting way of getting around the rules.

That is one method of listing a cpap on ebay and has been used for a very long time. Works for me, anything to get around the CPAP police on ebay.

It is like the sale of the plain white envelope and included for free is the airlilne travel voucher which is transferable but not saleable.

I did find this site:

http://sleeptrader.com/

I think it's new they have a cpap category but no listings. Padacheeks was listed on there for a while, but not anymore. Not sure why.

If he was going to include the machine wouldn't he want to tell you what model it fit? I was tempted to send seller a note and see if he wanted to buy my bag.

Come on guys. Anyone interested can hit the little button to ask the seller a question and I am sure he will be waiting to tell you.

Putting that on the listing is just a way for the Ebay police to pull his listing.

OK, I could not stand it I sent a question as to whether there was anything in the bag and what model did it fit. Sorry could not stand it.

yep, I see ebay out to kill all competition on auctions. First they join forces with yahoo, eliminate its auctions, I read now where yahoo is on a downward spiral trend, next ebay puts board of directors on craigslist in an attempt to take it over.

This is where our government needs to step in with anti-trust and promote competition instead of letting one company like ebay or microsoft dominate and control everything. Now that the government has backed off of microsoft with anti-trust, look at how they are throwing their weight around with patent threat issues as it relates to open source and linux. They buy up any company that has a patent to eliminate any competition. Give them an inch they will take a mile.

Look at the price you now have to pay for Vista and Office. If craigslist goes away watch what it costs you to list a ebay item.

It does not say anything about the machine, so I would not take the chance,

I wonder if this type of add would fall under the radar. Setup an auction as "CPAP accessories" and include a picture of the machine, hose and bag. In the auction description, just state "You are bidding on everything in the pictures".
