Gasp, try earthquake straps. They are readily available at Lowe's and Office Depot. I think everyone would benefit from these. If you attach the velcro bottom pieces to COMMAND STRIP adhesive, instead of glueing them to your furniture, you should have a very sturdy seal, that can still be removed with HOPEFULLY no damage to your furniture finish.

(Like how I got the local biz in there? )

I think this is the one I'm thinking of:

Shoot, you could custom make your own out of velcro and command strips...

BTW... I saw the cutest little end table/nightstand at Burlington Coat Factory the other day and I immediately thought "XPAP furniture!!!" It has a top that opens to about a 1 foot deep "chest" opening, where you could put your machine, then drill a hole out the back for the hose. Then there was a drawer underneath that that was plenty big enough for a few spare masks, the ayr gel, lansinoh, sex toys, etc. etc.

Pity I don't really have room for it in my bedroom. It was just perfect! You could totally hide all your gear, and still have a clean side table to put your glasses, books, kleenex, alarm clock, all the "normal" necessities of bedrooms.

Good luck with the new machine, Gasp!

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I never knew such products existed! I doubt these are available in the midwest (?) I don't remember us having an earthquake since I was about 7 or 8 and I even slept through that one.

Velcro and command strips.

Hey, don't feel bad, Jen. I don't have a tornado shelter.

I don't have a tornado shelter
Neither do I, which I DO NOT like because we have a scare about once a year. A tornado touches down usually within 20 miles of us at least once a year. Sometimes just across town. Our next house will have one, made of concrete forms, in the basement with a steel door on it.

Imagine watching Wizard of Oz as a kid when you lived in tornado alley?! Yikes! I was smart enough to know I wouldn't end up in Oz!

Of course it is worse west of the Mississippi.
