Breaks my heart, too. I was married to a man in the early 80's who had apnea. He didn't snore, but he would stop breathing all night long. I wouldn't be able to sleep, wondering if his next breath was coming. We used to have arguements when I would nudge him to turn to his side, because he accused me of "waking him up". And if I slept on the couch, he'd get really mad, accusing me of deserting him or something. Looking back on that time, I think we were both equally exhausted. Folks back then didn't know much about apnea or its treatment. Would we have gotten divorced anyway? Yes, because of his controlling personality. So look to the future, Jen, Snoregirl, and Stefernie, because now on XPAP you can reach your potential, and no one can hold you back.
All the best,
Cathy
P.S. Christy, sorry to hijack your thread. By posting in lieu of your husband, you've kind of opened up the whole topic of spousal support or non-support. I, too, think it's wonderful that you're backing him so completely.
DME and appointment..I am proud to announce

Christy, you're a cpap'er at heart, ya know! You *are* one of us, as surely as if the machine were arriving for YOU.Christy223 wrote:Thanks Cathy! "We" get hosed up tomorrow, Wohoo!!!
Your husband is very lucky that you've done so much good research about sleep apnea and the equipment to treat it. He's lucky he has such a caring, supportive wife. You two are a good team.
