Please Help - need copy of Encore Pro 1.6 and 1.8!

I just started my CPAP therapy and I really need a copy of this software to monitor how I am doing - I only see my doctor every 3 months!

Any help greatly appreciated,

Don't really need both - heard 1.6 does not work on vista and 1.8 is the latest version with some fixes. I would be happy with either!

cpap says 1.6 is not for sale right now.. Not sure why I thought that was resolved when they pulled 1.8 anyway 1.6 is around at other online sites I think ...

Thanks! Yes - I just ordered the usb reader from cpap.com and noticed the software is "not for sale at this time"!

I have been looking all over the internet - can't seem to find one!

You might try canceling your order for the Smart Card reader. There's a cheaper option here:

I learned about this from another member of this forum, who said it is the exact same product that Respironics sells for the Encore Pro software, and said he purchased it and it works perfectly with his smart card and encore pro software. I placed an order for it yesterday.

FYI, dont use the CD that comes with the card reader. The proper driver is on the Encore Pro CD (At least for version 1.

This ONLY applies to the card reader from "2-factors". If you purchase a card reader from CPAP.COM, there's a CD that comes with it that has the proper Respironics driver in stall program on it......which is ALSO on the Encore Pro CD in a folder called "Smart Card Readers". It's been on EVERY version of Encore Pro that I've seen since version 1.4.

Oops!

The link I gave above to buy Encore Pro 1.8i software from youneedsleep.com no longer works. They stopped selling it!!! ARRRGGHHH!!!

I swear to you the link worked when I posted it!

This is the second time in a week that I have found a retailer that was initially willing to sell the latest version of Encore Pro to end-users and then pulled it!
