Wow, what a great site. Thanks so MUCH--I'll have to explore it a bit more.

I do have one clarification:

The recommendation to use the ramp feature of our xPAP machines IS good, but we need to recall that it is not a required item. Some of us reach the point where the ramp pressure feels as if it is suffocating--and so we abandon the ramping, which does not in ANY way affect treatment efficacy.

IOW, it is a personal decision that doesn't matter one way or the other. Ramp it up or avoid the ramp; it is really up to the individual user.

I've had this problem. My soloution was turning the ramp pressure up, so it starts at a higher pressure. I've also change the ramp time. Both have helped me to the point where I almost don't use the ramp anymore. I started ramping from 6 to 12 in 10 minutes. It's now 8.5 to 12 in 5 minutes, if I use it, and it may get turned up to 9 tonight.

I found this article, as well as some of the previous ones informative. He might not be a spammer -- he might just be trying to share the wealth of knowledge.

I do not know if Steve123 is a spammeror not,
I do know that ALL his posts are linked to a site.
I have no idea of his connection to that site.

It would seem Steve could make other postings than that.
Do a search on steve123 and come to your own conclusions.

It has been addressed before, Check this thread:
