3 Weeks - still exhausted

Post by vmitchell » Wed Jun 13, 2007 6:26 pm

Many have described problems adjusting to mask. Mine is fine - always rated "excellent fit," yet I still wake up a zombie. There is also a lot of talk about mouth breathing which affects therapy. I don't think I'm doing this but how would I know? I can't think of what else might be the problem.

You people here are awesome. Such an abundance of compassion and empathy! I hope at some point I can be of help to someone. Virginia

Hi vmitchell

Either you need a cpap with data capability and software so your results can be analyzed or you can try mouth taping

If it makes a difference you have stumbled on your problem if not its back to data and software

You need to fill in your profilr(top of page) and let us know your treatment pressure. I'll bet you are using a nasal mask. FF mask are for mouthbreathers and congesten or nasal with taping. You really need a machine that has data and the software to see what's going on. Jim

You also have to remember that it can take a long time for some to see any results. Some see instant improvements, some take a long time to see even small improvements. The important thing is to not give up. Fill in your profile, and give us as much info as you can on your treatment and sleep study results, and someone will be able to help you more.
