mmm... downloaded VirtualBox, went to install it, installation says:NightHawke wrote: I also noticed that Virtual Box will soon be available for the Mac. Hard to beat the price.
Looks like VirtualBox has USB support under Linux, but not under Mac OS X (yet). If Parallels 3.0 trial works, that may be a better way to go until VirtualBox is ready for prime time.Currently, we are aware of the following issues:
• No support for USB
• No support for Host Interface Networking
• No support for Internal Networking
• No support for audio input
• No support for VT-x/AMD-V (rarely required)
• No support for raw disk access
• All windows have the same dock icon which makes them hard to distinguish
• When closing the main window (selector), it can not be shown again without terminating all VMs
• The global preferences cannot be opened when a VM is running
• When in fullscreen mode, the mouse does not work in the area where normally the OS X menu bar is
• The numlock emulation isn't implemented yet
• The VirtualBox kernel extension is currently accessible from all user accounts
Note that we are planning to address all known issues.
