Daytime apnea?

Post by gtaro » Thu May 31, 2007 8:31 pm

Is there such a thing as having apneas while you're not sleeping? What would it be called?
I ask because I sometimes get this odd feeling in my throat; like its partially blocked.

Have you been tested for Acid Reflux disease?

I've never been officially tested, but I know that its a problem for me. I've made Zantac part of my regular diet.

It can also be a stress related 'symptom', and people think they have something stuck in their throats, but it usually just turns out to be anxiety, though many keep their MD's busy trying to find a cause - and of course if they don't see at least one MD to be sure there isn't anything there, they should go - never assume anything and never be afraid to 'bother' the doctor (or they'd be out of business fast!).
