Hi all--
Ordered Encore Pro 1.61i with card reader from DirectHome Medical. They sent me Encore Pro 1.8.49. It says it's Vista compatible but I have no way of knowing, as I don't have Vista. It does seem to be missing some bits of data from the card as was mentioned in previous posts.
Now--can anybody take a look at this AHI/Pressure chart and make any suggestions? I've a high leak rate due to using the Hybrid, but I believe M series compensates for that. I seem to be have VS (vibratory snores) at the current pressure range of 8 and 13. My 90% pressures are 8 and 10.

How many observations does this plot represent?
If this is for a week or more ... you may want to narrow your range from 9 to 12 (or go straight CPAP mode at 12) ... else if less than a week, wait for more data then go from there.
What were you titrated at?

I had heard that we could not purchase Encore Pro 1.8 because respironics was not allowing it to be sold to patients--so consider yourself very lucky that you were able to get the software. I worry about what I will do when I have to get a new machine that won't work with my current Encore Pro version.

Thanks for the comeback, Dreamstalker. I was originally titrated at a range of 5 to 8 but that was absolutely unbearable..Felt like I was suffocating. I've been tweaking without the software for three months and arrived at a range of between 8 ad 13. Now with the software I want to get it where it really needs to be. Thanks. Pastorgilbert

pastorgilbert,
I think newest version of EPA includes the date range on the AHI vrs Pressure graph (At least my source code does and I *think* I released it) so you may want to upgrade to the latest version...

Jim--Thanks for the info.

I will agree with Dreamstalker. I would put it at 9 - 12 and see how that works for a week or so.

Hey Dreamstalker, Jim and friends--appreciated your previous advice to try setting my pressure at 12/9 auto bipap. I wanted to get back to you and seek your further wisdom. It seems my AHI is still pretty high though I've gotten my leaks to within acceptable range.
My original titration was set at 8/5 but that didn't give me enough air and I kept waking up gasping. I'm now sleeping through the night with 12/9 auto bipap, so that's an improvement. I would like to see the AHI come down substantially, though. Any suggestions? See chart below. It's based on one week's stats. Thanks again to Jim for the great add-on software.
Thanks.

Perhaps Rested Gal, Snoredog, some of the other more experienced experts can comment as you are using a Bi-PAP auto.
