CPAP shipping

Post by JeffH » Tue May 22, 2007 8:04 pm

Would like to stop the truck and get my stuff.

I live about 60 miles south of Oklahoma City. When I order from CPAP.com and track it, it goes right by my house first on it's way to OKC. Then they send it south to Ardmore, OK....goes down the same interstate again only back the way it came. Then they put it on a little brown truck for delivery. By the time they get off at my exit it is on it's third trip at that section of interstate.

No wonder gas is 3.34 a gallon....LOL

Maybe UPS stands for Unnecessary Package Shipping?

They gotta justify those fees.

Speaking of fees.....
I heard the other day that the new postal rates were also going to have envelope and package measurements as a determination for fees, too.
(over a certain size/measurement.....you pay more)

Den
(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

They already did, haven't you ever noticed that in card shops, the cards with square/round/large envelopes have a "REQUIRES EXTRA POSTAGE" thing in the corner where the stamp goes?

It's because they don't fit through the auto sorter, I believe.

I live 65 miles south of OKC also, on highway 29, 15 miles east of Marlow. It sure is a small world.

Fed-Ex is just the same

Post by Craig-Tx » Wed May 23, 2007 4:58 pm

I live in Fort Worth, TX.
I recently ordered a phone from Cingular. (Shipps from Fort Worth) I watched the Fed-Ex tracking:
Departure Scan: Fort Worth, TX
Location Scan: Fort Worth, TX
Location Scan: Dallas, Tx
Location Scan: Fort Worth, TX
Out for delivery.

If only Cingular would have just let me drive by where they ship it from, I would have just picked it up.

I'm about 6 east of I-35 and a little north of Hiway 19. I ride my bike by your place all the time.
