Hi TONYRAE.
Welcome to the forum.
I have 5 kids myself so I know about saving every dollar.
I purchased my first equipment about a month ago from cpap.com. I searched around a lot in the several months that I was waiting for my two sleep study results to come back and get my doc to write a script. They've definately got the best price and their service is fantastic. You can get help from a live person on the phone till 10:00 PM! The first night I got my equipment I made a call to them at about 9:55 and Ted spent 5 or 10 minutes with me then called one of his co-workers to get more answers and then called me back. Needless to say it after 10:00 PM when we got done. Never did I feel he felt inconvieneced. I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with the experience.
How did you decide on the autoset spirit? I'm glad to see your looking at an auto adjusting cpap as far as I'm concerned it's the best way to go unless you have a real high pressure and very frequent "events".
I assume you are interested in using the software to monitor your progress since you chose the spirit instead of the respond. This is also a good idea.
I chose the Puritan Bennett Goodknight 420E auto and love it. It's very small and simple and the software is very easy to use. It also suprisingly is the most affordable even though I think it's the best machine out there.
If you haven't already, browse around at cpap.com. They have tons of info and comparisons on all the equipment. You can also call their helpline and ask questions. I did It several times before I decided to buy from them.
If I sound like I'm shilling for them I not - Just a very satisfied customer.

Howdy,
Warning, I am "shilling" for them. We are very proud of the services we offer and of the people who enjoy them so much that they support our forum.
Here's the skinny contact wise:
https://www.cpap.com/
Toll Free: 1-800-356-5221 (8am - 10pm CST)
Ask A Question: https://www.cpap.com/questionsubmission.shtml
In terms of machines, you want to run your needs by a human for sure (and it sure wouldn't hurt to run it by the great people of this board).
To check out your options before hand, you should use the drop down categories here:
https://www.cpap.com/findProducts.php
A little known fact about our shopping cart is that these categories are ordered by sales popularity + phone staff input + our owners final say. They largely reflect market demand and experienced user preference.
Between the website, these forums and cpap.com's phone support you will get the machine that meets your needs at the lowest price.
Cheers!

Johnny, thanks for posting all the contact info.
I'd like you to know you and your family (and your wonderful family business) are on my list of things to be thankful for this year.
Wishing you and your family and staff a Happy Thanksgiving.
You all are providing a great service to the cpap community that in many cases would otherwise without.

Like Wader, I'm not connected with any company at all. Not a health professional, not a doctor. Just a plain old autopap user who has made some purchases from several online stores and was very happy with the prices and service at cpap.com. I'd add this...when comparing online store prices, I also look at "shipping cost". Cpap.com's free shipping on orders over $100 makes their already low prices really hard to beat.
Going to the family gathering now. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
