I began my CPAP therapy in January. When 1st on the hose, I felt more alert, less fatigued, and much less tired. Now I feel like I have gone back to feeling groggy, tired, and just generally not as good.
The software says my AHI is 2.5
The only thing that I have noticed that has been a little different is my 90% has moved from 8 to 9. I use the autopap with a low setting of 7 and a high of 9. I had a lot of centrals during my study.
Any ideas?
Started off feeling better.... now not so much
I would look at how long (in duration) you are sleeping, probably not getting enough sleep for what ever reason.
If that hasn't changed any, I would look at the Auto:Max setting. Was it just recently your 90% pressure moved from 8cm to 9cm? If so, what did the AHI do from that change? go up or down?
I don't know what your lab found pressure is/was, but I would limit the Auto:Max to what your lab found pressure or where you were when you felt better especially if you have any centrals on cpap. Have 2-3 of those per night, it will wake you 2-3 times per night, the result is daytime fatigue. And that machine is not very good at avoiding those type of events, in fact it is more likely to score 1 or 2 as obstructive before it ever gets around to logging them as NR's or determining if they are central.

someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...
