Nasal Pillow discomfort - AYR?

Post by sleepyred » Sat Apr 14, 2007 1:55 pm

Okay I bought the ayr gel - do I use it with the Hybrid mask for my nose or during the day or both? Will it hurt the pillows?

TIA!

If your nares are sore, I'd use it during the day as well. Think of it as chapstick for your nose.

It's water based and has aloe in it. It won't do anything bad to the pillows, except make them a bit gunky. Feel free to clean them.

Pillows won't feel a thing.

I use it only when using my nasal pillow interface ... just smear it around the nares and a bit just inside the nares ... have a paper towel at the ready to clean off you finger.

I suppose you wear some during the day if it is the one w/ Aloe ... otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Hope it feels better ... you nose that is

AYR is a saline gel you can put it anywhere but I'd put it in the nares.
